الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd ar-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Thabit, from Anas — and Abu Kamil also told us, Hammad ibn Zayd told us, Thabit told us, from Anas — who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most handsome of people, the bravest of people, and the most generous of people. There was alarm in Medina, and the people went out towards the sound, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, met them, having already gone ahead of them, having investigated the source of the alarm on a bareback horse of Abu Talhah's, with no saddle on it, and the sword around his neck. He said, "Do not be alarmed," and he said of the horse, "We found it to be like a sea," or "It is indeed like a sea."
