Hasan ibn Musa told us: I heard Hilal ibn Abi Dawud al-Habati, Abu Hisham, say: my brother Harun ibn Abi Dawud told me, he said: I came to Anas ibn Malik and said, "O Abu Hamzah, the place is far, but we are pleased to visit you." He raised his head and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: whatever man visits a sick person is indeed wading in mercy, and when he sits with the sick person, mercy envelops him." He said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is for the healthy person who visits the sick person, but what does the sick person get?" He said, "His sins are removed from him."
