حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخَالِطُنَا حَتَّى إِنْ كَانَ لَيَقُولُ لِأَخٍ لِي يَا أَبَا عُمَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلَ النُّغَيْرُ قَالَ وَكَانَ إِذَا حَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ نَضَحْنَا لَهُ طَرَفَ بِسَاطٍ ثُمَّ أَمَّنَا وَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ ثُمَّ إِنَّ أَبَا التَّيَّاحِ بَعْدَمَا كَبِرَ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَقُلْ صَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ وَلَا أَمَّنَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Abu al-Tayyah, that he heard Anas ibn Malik say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to mix with us so much that he would say to a brother of mine, "O Abu 'Umayr, what did the little bird do?" He said: And when the time for prayer came, we would sprinkle water on the edge of a mat for him, then he would lead us in prayer, and we would line up behind him. Shu'bah said: Then, after Abu al-Tayyah grew old, he said, "Then he got up and prayed," without saying "we lined up behind him" or "he led us in prayer."
