حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حِينَ وَلَدَتْ انْطَلَقُوا بِالصَّبِيِّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُحَنِّكَهُ قَالَ فَإِذَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مِرْبَدٍ يَسِمُ غَنَمًا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَكْبَرُ عِلْمِي أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي آذَانِهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Hisham ibn Zayd, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik narrate that when his mother gave birth, they took the baby to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so that he might perform the chewing of a date for him. He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was in a livestock pen branding sheep. Shu'bah said: To the best of my knowledge, he said, on their ears.
