حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَرَوْحٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تُوَاصِلُوا فَقِيلَ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِي.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Rawh told us, they said: Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not fast continuously without breaking your fast." It was said, "But you fast continuously, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I am not like any of you; my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."
