حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقُرْآنَ بِالْحَمْدِ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

Abu Kamil told us, Hammad informed us, he said: Qatadah, Thabit, and Humayd informed us, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to open recitation of the Qur'an with "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds."
