حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَعْمَلُونَ أَعْمَالًا هِيَ أَدَقُّ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ مِنْ الشَّعْرِ إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْمُوبِقَاتِ.

Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, Mahdi told us, he said, Ghaylan ibn Jarir told us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: You do deeds that are more insignificant in your eyes than a hair, yet in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we used to count them among the destructive sins.
