حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ صَلَّى سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ صَلَاةَ رَغْبَةٍ وَرَهْبَةٍ سَأَلْتُ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثَلَاثًا فَأَعْطَانِي اثْنَتَيْنِ وَمَنَعَنِي وَاحِدَةً سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ لَا يَبْتَلِيَ أُمَّتِي بِالسِّنِينَ وَلَا يُظْهِرَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوَّهُمْ فَفَعَلَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ لَا يَلْبِسَهُمْ شِيَعًا فَأَبَى عَلَيَّ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Ghaylan told us, Rishdin told us, he said, Amr ibn al-Harith told me, from Bukayr, from al-Dahhak al-Qurashi, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey pray the voluntary mid-morning prayer of eight rak'ahs, and when he finished he said, "I have prayed a prayer of hope and fear; I asked my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, for three things, and He granted me two and withheld one from me. I asked Him that my nation not be afflicted with famine years, and that He not let their enemy prevail over them, and He granted me that; and I asked Him not to let them be split into factions, but He refused me that."
