حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ آدَمَ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَدَعَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ خَلْقٌ لَا يَتَمَالَكُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Samad told us, Hammad told us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When Allah, Mighty and Majestic, created Adam, He left him alone for as long as Allah willed to leave him, and Iblis began to go around him looking at him. When he saw that he was hollow, he knew that he was a creation that could not restrain itself."
