حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَتَبَاهَى النَّاسُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ.

Abd al-Samad and Affan told us, they said, Hammad told us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The Hour will not come until people vie with one another in boasting about mosques."
