Abd al-Samad told us, my father told me, Abd al-Aziz told us, who said: We entered upon Anas ibn Malik together with Thabit, and Thabit said to him, "I am unwell." He said, "Shall I not treat you with the incantation of Abu al-Qasim, upon him be prayer and peace?" He said, "Yes indeed." He said, "Say: O Allah, Lord of mankind, Remover of hardship, heal me, You are the Healer, there is no healer but You, grant a healing that leaves no illness behind."
