حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُصْبَرَ الْبَهَائِمُ.

Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah: Hisham ibn Zayd narrated to me, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that animals be confined and used as targets [for shooting].
