Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Humayd: Anas ibn Malik informed us: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by an orchard wall belonging to Banu al-Najjar and heard a voice from a grave. He said, "When did the owner of this grave die?" They said, "He died in the Age of Ignorance." He said: "Were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would have asked Allah to let you hear the torment of the grave."
