Sufyan narrated to us from al-Zuhri, from Anas, who said: The last glimpse I had of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was on a Monday, when he lifted the curtain while the people were behind Abu Bakr in prayer. I looked at his face - it was like a page of the Qur'an. The people were about to move, but he gestured to them to remain firm, and he let down the curtain. He died at the end of that day, peace and blessings be upon him.
