حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يُكْثِرُ الصَّوْمَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُفْطِرُ إِلَّا فِي سَفَرٍ أَوْ مَرَضٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us from Humayd, from Anas, who said: Abu Talha used to fast frequently during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, died, he would not break his fast except while traveling or ill.
