حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ.

Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us from Abu Qilabah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Bilal was commanded to make the call to prayer in pairs and the iqamah singly.
