Hushaym told us: Ubaydullah ibn Abi Bakr informed us, from Anas, and Yunus, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Help your brother, whether he is a wrongdoer or wronged." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, I can help him if he is wronged, but how do I help him if he is a wrongdoer?" He said: "You restrain him, you prevent him [from wrongdoing] - that is helping him."
