Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed the devil comes to one of you while he is in his prayer and takes a hair from his rear and pulls it, making him think that he has broken his ablution; so let him not turn away [from prayer] until he hears a sound or perceives a smell."
