حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَتَغَشَّتْهُمْ الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ السَّكِينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمْ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ نَزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى هَذِهِ السَّمَاءِ فَنَادَى هَلْ مِنْ مُذْنِبٍ يَتُوبُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ إِلَى الْفَجْرِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aghar Abu Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "No people gather remembering Allah but the angels surround them, mercy envelops them, tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them among those with Him." And he said: "Indeed Allah grants respite until, when the last third of the night remains, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, descends to the lowest heaven and calls out: 'Is there anyone repenting of sin that I may accept his repentance? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone supplicating? Is there anyone asking?' - until dawn."
