حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ قَالَ بَلَغَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَأْثُرُ حَدِيثًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّرْفِ فَأَخَذَ يَدِي فَذَهَبْتُ أَنَا وَهُوَ وَالرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ مَا حَدِيثٌ بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ تَأْثُرُهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّرْفِ فَقَالَ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَلَا الْفِضَّةَ بِالْفِضَّةِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَلَا تُفَضِّلُوا بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلَا تَبِيعُوا مِنْهَا غَائِبًا بِنَاجِزٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Ubaydullah: Nafi' informed me, who said: It reached Ibn Umar that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was relating a hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about money exchange, so he took my hand, and I went with him and the man. He said, "What is this hadith that has reached me, that you relate it from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about money exchange?" He said, "My ears heard it and my heart retained it, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, 'Do not sell gold for gold except like for like, nor silver for silver except like for like, and do not let some of it exceed the other, and do not sell any of it absent for what is present.'"
