Waki' narrated to us, from Yunus ibn Amr, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Sa'id, who said: We took captives on the day of Hunayn, and we sought their ransom, so we asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about withdrawal, and he said: "Do as you wish; whatever Allah has decreed will come to be, for not every emission results in a child."
