Yahya told us, from Unays ibn Abi Yahya, who said: My father narrated to me, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id say: Two men disputed — or contended — a man from Banu Khudrah and a man from Banu 'Amr ibn 'Awf, concerning the mosque that was founded upon piety. Al-Khudri said it was the mosque of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him), and al-'Amri said it was the mosque of Quba. So they came to the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about that, and he said: "It is this mosque" — meaning the mosque of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) — and he said: "In that one there is much good" — meaning the mosque of Quba.
