Ibn Abi Adiyy told us, from Dawud, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered us to build the mosque, so we began carrying bricks one by one, while Ammar used to carry two bricks at a time, so that dust settled on his head. He said: My companions told me - though I did not hear it myself from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - that he began shaking the dust from his head and saying: "Woe to you, O son of Sumayyah, the transgressing party will kill you."
