حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْقَتِيلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Two women were with their two sons when a wolf came and took the son of one of them. One said to the other: It took your son. The other said: No, it took your son. They went to Dawud (David, peace be upon him) for judgment, and he ruled in favor of the older woman. They then went to Sulayman ibn Dawud (Solomon, peace be upon him) and told him. He said: Bring me a knife and I will divide the child between the two of you. The younger woman said: Do not do that, may Allah have mercy on you — he is her son! So he ruled in favor of the younger woman.'
