حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ سَمِعَ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The nation of Banu Isra'il was governed by prophets. Whenever a prophet died, another prophet succeeded him. But there is no prophet after me. There will be successors (khulafa'), and they will be many.' They said: 'What do you command us?' He said: 'Fulfill the pledge to the first, then the next. Give them their right, for Allah will ask them about what He entrusted to them.'
