Rabi'ah ibn Ka'b said: I used to sleep at the door of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and give him water for his ablution. I would hear him for a long time during the night saying: 'Sami' Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him).' And I would hear him for a long time at night saying: 'Al-hamdulillahi Rabb il-aalameen (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds).'
