917/1202(صحيح)عن أبي هريرة قال: قال أبو بكر: يا رسول الله! علمني شيئاً أقوله إذا أصبحت وأمسيت، قال:"قل: اللهم عالم الغيب والشهادة، فاطر السماوات والأرض، رب كل شيء ومليكه(1)أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت، أعوذ بك من شر نفسي، ومن شر الشيطان وشركه ؛ قلُهُ إذا أصبحت وإذا أمسيت، وإذا أخذت مضجعك".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah said: Abu Bakr said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Teach me something to say when morning and evening come.' He said: 'Say: O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Shaytan and his traps. Say it when morning comes, when evening comes, and when you lie down to sleep.'
