A man from the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'Whoever sleeps on an elevated open area and falls off and dies, the covenant of protection has been lifted from him. And whoever rides the sea when it becomes turbulent — meaning stormy — and perishes, the covenant of protection has been lifted from him.'
