1136 / 870(صحيح)عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عمرة الأنصاري قال: أوذن أبو سعيد الخدري بجنازة، قال: فكأنه تخلف حتى أخذ القوم مجالسهم، ثم جاء معه، فلما رآه القوم تسرعوا عنه، وقام بعضهم عنه ليجلس في مجلسه، فقال: لا، إني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" خير المجالس أوسعها". ثم تنحى، فجلس في مجلس واسع.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Amrah al-Ansari said: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was informed of a funeral. He held back until people took their seats. Then he came, and when the people saw him, they quickly moved to make space and some stood up to give him their places. He said: 'No. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "The best of gatherings is the most spacious."' Then he moved aside and sat in a spacious spot.
