Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud] said: 'When one of you sneezes, let him say: "Al-hamdu lillahi Rabb il-Aalameen" (All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds). Let the one who responds say: "Yarhamuk Allah" (May Allah have mercy on you). And let [the sneezer] say: "Yaghfir Allahu li wa lakum" (May Allah forgive me and you).'
