Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When [one of you] sneezes, let him say: "Al-hamdu lillah" (All praise is for Allah). When he says [this], his brother or companion should say: "Yarhamuk Allah" (May Allah have mercy on you). When he says "Yarhamuk Allah," [the sneezer] should say: "Yahdikum Allah wa yuslih balakum" (May Allah guide you and set right your affairs).' Abu Abdullah [al-Bukhari] said: 'This is the most reliable hadith narrated on this topic.'
