Usamah ibn Zayd reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed by a gathering in which Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul was present — this was before Abdullah ibn Ubayy had accepted Islam — and he said: 'Do not bother us in our gathering!' So the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to Sa'd ibn Ubadah and said: 'O Sa'd! Did you not hear what Abu Hubab said?' — referring to Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul.
