حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، أَخْبَرَنِي فُلَيْحٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ وَأَبُو أُسَيْدٍ وَسَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ فَذَكَرُوا صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ أَنَا أَعْلَمُكُمْ بِصَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ بَعْضَ هَذَا قَالَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ كَأَنَّهُ قَابِضٌ عَلَيْهِمَا وَوَتَّرَ يَدَيْهِ فَتَجَافَى عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَمْكَنَ أَنْفَهُ وَجَبْهَتَهُ وَنَحَّى يَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ وَوَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى رَجَعَ كُلُّ عَظْمٍ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ حَتَّى فَرَغَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَافْتَرَشَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى وَأَقْبَلَ بِصَدْرِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى قِبْلَتِهِ وَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَكَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ التَّوَرُّكَ وَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ فُلَيْحٍ وَذَكَرَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْحُرِّ نَحْوَ جِلْسَةِ حَدِيثِ فُلَيْحٍ وَعُتْبَةَ .

Abbas ibn Sahl narrates: 'Abu Humayd, Abu Usayd, Hadrat Sahl ibn Sa'd, and Muhammad ibn Maslamah (may Allah be well pleased with them all) gathered and discussed the prayer of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Abu Humayd (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "I know the prayer of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) better than any of you." He then narrated part of this hadith. He said: "Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) bowed and placed his blessed hands on his knees as if gripping them, and kept his arms taut, away from his sides." He said: "Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prostrated, firmly placing his blessed nose and forehead (on the ground), keeping his hands away from his sides, and placing his palms level with his shoulders. Then he raised his blessed head until every bone returned to its place — until the prayer was completed. Then he sat, spread his left foot and pointed the front of his right foot towards the qiblah. He placed his right palm on his right knee and his left palm on his left knee, and pointed with his (index) finger."' Abu Dawud said: 'Utbah ibn Abi Hakim narrated this hadith from Abdullah ibn 'Isa from Abbas ibn Sahl, without mentioning tawarruk. Al-Hasan ibn al-Hurr described a sitting similar to that in the hadith of Fulayh and 'Utbah.'
الترجمة الأردية
عباس بن سہل فرماتے ہیں: ابوحُمید، ابواُسید، سہل بن سعد اور محمد بن مسلمہ (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم) اکٹھے ہوئے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز کا ذکر کیا۔ ابوحُمید (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) نے فرمایا: میں تم سب سے زیادہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز جانتا ہوں — پھر اسی حدیث کا کچھ حصہ ذکر کیا — فرمایا: پھر رکوع فرمایا اور ہاتھ مبارک گھٹنوں پر اس طرح رکھے گویا انہیں پکڑ رہے ہیں اور بازوؤں کو تان کر پہلوؤں سے الگ رکھا۔ فرمایا: پھر سجدہ فرمایا تو ناک اور پیشانیِ مبارک (زمین پر) جمائے اور ہاتھ پہلوؤں سے الگ رکھے اور ہتھیلیاں کندھوں کے برابر رکھیں۔ پھر سرِ اقدس اٹھایا یہاں تک کہ ہر ہڈی اپنی جگہ لوٹ آئی — نماز مکمل ہونے تک۔ پھر بیٹھے تو بایاں پاؤں بچھایا اور دائیں پاؤں کا اگلا حصہ قبلے کی طرف رکھا۔ دائیں ہتھیلی دائیں گھٹنے پر اور بائیں ہتھیلی بائیں گھٹنے پر رکھی اور (شہادت کی) انگلی سے اشارہ فرمایا۔ ابوداود فرماتے ہیں: عتبہ بن ابی حکیم نے یہ حدیث عبداللہ بن عیسیٰ سے عباس بن سہل سے روایت کی، اس میں تورّک کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔ حسن بن الحُر نے بھی فُلیح اور عتبہ کی حدیث جیسی نشست بیان کی۔
