حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ قَالَ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَبَضَ أَرْوَاحَكُمْ حَيْثُ شَاءَ وَرَدَّهَا حَيْثُ شَاءَ قُمْ فَأَذِّنْ بِالصَّلاَةِ " . فَقَامُوا فَتَطَهَّرُوا حَتَّى إِذَا ارْتَفَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates another version of the same incident in which the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Allah the Exalted seized your souls when He willed and returned them when He willed. Stand up and call the adhan for prayer.' So they all stood up and performed ablution. When the sun had risen high, the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood and led the people in prayer.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اسی واقعے میں مروی ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہاری روحوں کو جب تک چاہا روکے رکھا اور جب چاہا واپس کر دیا۔ اٹھو اور نماز کے لیے اذان دو۔ چنانچہ سب اٹھے اور انہوں نے وضو کیا، حتیٰ کہ جب سورج بلند ہو گیا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے اور لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔
