حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ خِضَابِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ وَلَكِنْ قَدْ خَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Thabit (upon him be mercy) narrates that Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) was asked about the dyeing of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He replied: He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not dye his hair. However, Hadrat Abu Bakr (al-Siddiq) and Hadrat Umar (al-Faruq) (may Allah be well pleased with them both) did dye their hair.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ثابت رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے خضاب کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے خضاب نہیں لگایا تھا، البتہ حضرت ابوبکر (صدیق) اور حضرت عمر (فاروق) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے خضاب لگایا تھا۔
