حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عُمُومَةٍ، لَهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَكْبًا جَاءُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوُا الْهِلاَلَ بِالأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا وَإِذَا أَصْبَحُوا أَنْ يَغْدُوا إِلَى مُصَلاَّهُمْ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Umayr ibn Anas narrates from his uncles — who were among the Companions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) — that a group of riders came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) testifying that they had seen the new moon the day before. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) commanded them to break their fast, and when morning came, to go out to their prayer ground.
الترجمة الأردية
ابوعُمَیر بن انس اپنے چچاؤں سے — جو صحابۂ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میں سے تھے — روایت کرتے ہیں کہ کچھ سوار نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئے — گواہی دے رہے تھے کہ انہوں نے کل ہلال دیکھا ہے — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حکم دیا کہ روزہ توڑ دیں اور جب صبح ہو تو اپنی عیدگاہ کی طرف نکلیں۔
