ان الله لا يقبل صلاة مسبل ازاره

Indeed, Allah does not accept the prayer of one who lets his garment hang below his ankles.

لا صلاة لملتفت

There is no prayer for the one who turns his head (looking around during prayer).

من قام فى الصلاة فالتفت رد الله عليه صلاته

Whoever turns his head during prayer, Allah rejects his prayer.

الاختصار فى الصلاة راحة اهل النار

Placing the hand on the hip during prayer is the comfort of the people of the Hellfire.

يمس لحيته فى الصلاة

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) used to touch his beard during prayer.

نهي عن النفخ فى السجود

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) forbade blowing during prostration.

لان يمسك احدكم يده عن الحصي خير له من مائة ناقة

For one of you to restrain his hand from the pebbles (during prostration) is better for him than a hundred she-camels.

كان يمسح العرق عن وجهه فى الصلاة

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) used to wipe the sweat from his face during prayer.

العطاس والنعاس والتثاوب فى الصلاة من الشيطان

Sneezing, drowsiness, and yawning during prayer are from the devil.

كان يكره التثاوب فى الصلاة

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) used to dislike yawning during prayer.

يوم القوم احسنهم وجها

The one with the most handsome face should lead the people in prayer.

ان سركم ان تقبل صلاتكم فليومكم خياركم

If you wish your prayers to be accepted, let the best among you lead you.

من صلى خلف عالم تقي فكانما صلى خلف نبى

Whoever prays behind a pious scholar, it is as if he has prayed behind a prophet.

صلو خلف كل برو فاجر

Pray behind every righteous and sinful person.

من ام قوما ثم ظهر انه كان محدثا او جنبا اعاد صلاته و اعادوا

Whoever led a group in prayer and then discovered that he was without ablution or in a state of janabah, he should repeat his prayer and they should also repeat...

لا يومن احد بعدي جالسا

After me, no one should lead the prayer while seated.

وسطوا الامام

Place the imam in the center.

من صلى الفجر فى جماعة فكانما حج خمسين حجة مع آدم

Whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation, it is as if he has performed Hajj fifty times with Adam, peace be upon him.

من لم تفته ركعة من صلاة الغداة اربعين ليلة لم يمت حتي يرى مقعده من الجنة

Whoever does not miss a single unit of the Fajr prayer for forty nights will see his place in Paradise before he dies.

ما زال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقنت فى صلاة الغداة حتي فارق الدنيا

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, continued to perform the Qunut supplication in the Fajr prayer until he departed from this world.
