من كثرت صلاته بالليل حسن وجهه بالنهار

Whoever prays much at night will have a beautiful face during the day.

اذا نام احدكم وفي نفسه ان يصلي من الليل فليضع قبضة من تراب

When one of you goes to sleep with the intention of praying at night, let him place a handful of earth near him.

ان الله زادكم صلاة الي صلاتكم وهو الوتر

Allah has added a prayer to your prayers, and that is the Witr.

من لم يوتر فليس منا

Whoever does not pray the Witr is not one of us.

من لم يوتر فلا صلاة له

Whoever does not pray the Witr, his prayer is invalid.

الوتر على اهل القرآن

The Witr is incumbent upon the people of the Quran (i.e., those who have memorized it).

الوتر واجب على كل مسلم

The Witr is obligatory upon every Muslim.

الوتر ثلاث ركعات كصلاة المغرب

The Witr is three units, like the Maghrib prayer.

من فاته الوتر من الليل فليقضه من الغد

Whoever misses the Witr at night should make it up the next morning.

كان النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي فى رمضان عشرين ركعة

The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to pray twenty units (of Taraweeh) during Ramadan.

كان الناس فى زمن عمر يقومون فى رمضان بثلاث وعشرين ركعة

During the time of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, the people used to pray twenty-three units (of Taraweeh) in Ramadan.

امر رجلا ان يصلي بالناس... عشرين ركعة

Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, ordered a man to lead the people in twenty units (of Taraweeh).

كان ابي يصلي بالناس فى رمضان بالمدينه عشرين ركعة

Ubayy ibn Ka'b, may Allah be pleased with him, used to lead the people of Madinah in twenty units (of Taraweeh) during Ramadan.

ان فى الجنة بابا يقال له ضحي فمن صلى صلاة الضحي حنث اليه صلاة الضحي كما يحن الفصيل الي امه حتي انها لتستقبله حتي يدخل الجنة

ان فى الجنة بابا يقال له ضحي لا يدخل منه الا من حافظ على صلاة الضحيٰ

In Paradise there is a gate called Duha, and none shall enter through it except the one who was consistent in praying the Duha prayer.

من داوم على صلاة الضحي ولم يقطعها الا من علة كنت انا وهو فى الجنة فى زورق من نور فى بحر من نور حتي نزور رب العالمين

Whoever is consistent in the Duha prayer and does not abandon it except due to an illness, he and I shall be in Paradise in a boat of light upon a sea of light ...

المنافق لا يصلي الضحي

The hypocrite does not pray the Duha prayer.

صلوا ركعتي الضحي بسورتيها: والشمس وضحاها والضحي

Pray the two units of Duha with its two surahs: "By the sun and its brightness" (ash-Shams) and "By the morning light" (ad-Duha).

من صلى ركعتي الضحي كتب الله له الف الف حسنة

Whoever prays two units of the Duha prayer, Allah will record for him one hundred thousand good deeds.

لا يترك الضحي فى السفر ولا غيره

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) would not leave the Duha prayer, whether in travel or otherwise.
