من ترك موضع شعرة من جنابة لم يغسلها فعل به كذا وكذا فى النار

Whoever leaves a spot the size of a hair unwashed during the bath for janabah, such and such will be done to him in the Hellfire.

تحت كل شعرة جنابة فاغسلو الشعر وانقو البشر

Under every hair is janabah, so wash the hair and cleanse the skin.

كان يغتسل يوم الجمعة و يوم الفطر و يوم النحر و يوم عرفة

The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to perform ghusl on Fridays, on Eid al-Fitr, on Eid al-Adha, and on the Day of Arafah.

كان يغتسل من اربع؛ من الجنابة و يوم الجمعة و من الحجامة و غسل الميت

The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to perform ghusl for four reasons: janabah, Friday, cupping, and washing the deceased.

اغتسل فى كل جمعة ولو ان تشترى الماء بقوت يومك

Perform ghusl every Friday, even if you have to buy the water with the food for your day.

من توضا بعد الغسل فليس منا

Whoever performs ablution after ghusl is not one of us.

لا تقرا الحائض ولا الجنب شيئا من القرآن

Neither the menstruating woman nor the one in a state of janabah should recite anything from the Quran.

انه لم يكن يحجزه عن القرآن شىء سوى الجنابة

Nothing prevented him (the Prophet, peace be upon him) from reciting the Quran except janabah.

اقل الحيض ثلاث اكثره عشر

The minimum duration of menstruation is three days and the maximum is ten days.

وقت للنفساء اربعين يوما الا ان تري الطهر قبل ذالك

He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) set forty days for women in post-natal bleeding, unless they become pure before that.

اذا اخذ المؤذن فى اذانه وضع الرب يده فوق راسه فلا يزال كذالك حتي يفرغ من اذانه

When the muezzin begins his call to prayer, the Lord places His hand upon his head and continues to do so until he finishes the call.

لا يوذن الا متوضي

Only one who has ablution should give the call to prayer.

لا يوذن غلام حتي يحتلم

No boy should give the call to prayer until he reaches puberty.

لا يوذن لكم الا فصيح

Let none but an eloquent person give the call to prayer for you.

ما من مدينة بكثر اذانها الا قل بردها

Any city where the call to prayer is given frequently will have its cold diminished.

موذن اهل السموات جبريل و امامهم ميكائيل

The muezzin of the people of the heavens is Jibril (Gabriel), and their imam is Mikail (Michael), peace be upon them.

كان اذان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم شفعا شفعا فى الاذان والاقامة

The words of the call to prayer and the iqamah of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, were repeated in pairs.

من اذن فليقم

Whoever gives the call to prayer should also give the iqamah.

المؤذن املك بالاذان و الامام املك بالاقامة

The muezzin has more authority over the call to prayer, while the imam has more authority over the iqamah.
